We believe you should be able to leave as easily as you joined. This page explains how to delete your data, what gets deleted, what may be retained for legal reasons, and how to revoke access if you connected your Google account.


Quick ways to delete your data

Option A — Self-serve (fastest)

If you see a Delete account & data option in your GeoVee settings:

  1. Sign in to geovee.io

  2. Go to Account → Settings → Privacy

  3. Click Delete account & data and confirm

Don’t see this option? Use Option B.

Option B — Request deletion (we’ll handle it)

Email support@geovee.io with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include:

  • Your account email

  • Your license key(s) and/or order ID (if you have them)

  • The site/domain where the API is used (your “instance”), if applicable

We’ll confirm we received your request and keep you posted until it’s done.


If you connected Google

If you use Google sign-in or granted any Google API scopes:

  1. Revoke our access anytime at
    https://myaccount.google.com/permissions → find GeoVeeRemove access.

  2. (Optional) Email support@geovee.io asking us to delete any Google-derived data we still store.
    We will remove or anonymize Google user data associated with your account unless we’re legally required to keep specific records.

We follow Google’s Limited Use policy: we don’t use Google data for ads, don’t sell it, and limit human access to security/support/legal needs only.


What we delete

When your deletion request is completed, we will remove or anonymize:

  • Account profile (name, email, company)

  • License keys tied to your account (deactivated), usage counters, and per-license settings

  • Support messages/attachments you sent to us

  • Google user data you authorized us to access (if any), consistent with your revocation/request

  • Logs linked to your account (where feasible); otherwise they are anonymized


What may be retained (and why)

Some data can’t be deleted immediately for legal, security, or operational reasons. We keep only what’s necessary:

  • Billing/transaction records (e.g., invoices, tax, chargeback/fraud evidence) for the periods required by law

  • Security and system logs for [e.g., up to 30–90 days] to detect abuse and ensure service integrity

  • Backups: your data may persist in encrypted backups for [e.g., up to 90 days] and will be purged on the normal backup rotation

  • Aggregated/ de-identified analytics that no longer identify you

We do not sell your personal information.


Timing & confirmation

  • We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days (often sooner).

  • If we need more time due to complexity or legal constraints, we’ll let you know.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email when deletion is finished.


Identity verification

To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your email or provide additional information (e.g., order ID, last four digits from an invoice) before we proceed.


Regional rights (GDPR/UK & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain uses. Email support@geovee.io and we’ll help. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.


Third-party services

We work with trusted providers (hosting, payments, support). When we delete your data, we also instruct our processors to delete it from their systems where applicable.
